Beaumont High School

Beaumont High School is a high school in the St. Louis Public School District. The current principal is Travis Brown.


The school was designed by architect Rockwell M. Milligan. Construction began in 1925, and the school was opened in September 1926. It cost $2,296,870 to build, which was more expensive than any of the other schools in St. Louis at the time.

When opened, the entire student body of Yeatman High School and the 9th grade class of Central High School moved to Beaumont. Wilbur N. Fuller was the school's first principal, and Albert H. Huntington was the first assistant principal.
