St. Louis' last grand ballroom continually offering live music for swing & ballroom dancing, old-time rock 'n' roll, Mexican & Latin dancing, national touring bands, music festivals, dance instruction & competitions since 1927! One of the largest "floating" hardwood dance floors in the midwest (5,000 sq. ft.), seats up to 850 people. Located in the heart of the Cherokee Street Business District in South St. Louis, the Casa Loma has been a hallmark in entertainment for some 70 years in St. Louis. They have featured such greats as Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra, and Glenn Miller. The Casa Loma is still open to the public on certain nights and features big band and ballroom dancing.
