Meda P. Washington Education Center
The Meda P. Washington Education Center is a high school in the St. Louis Public School District. The Continued Education Project, as it was originally called, was opened in January of 1968 with the specific intent of educating the growing number of pregnant adolescents. It was relocated at in 1995, and was renamed the Meda P. Washington Education Center in 1996 in honor of the first teacher in charge of the school.
