O'Fallon Park

O'Fallon Park is a neighborhood in the City of St. Louis. It is bound by West Florissant, Harris Avenue, Algernon Street and Adelaide on the north, Pope Avenue on the northwest, Natural Bridge and Kossuth Avenues on the south via Fair Avenue, Warne and East Warne Avenue on the east, and Newstead on the west.

History

The neighborhood is named after Colonel John R. O'Fallon (1791 - 1865). O'Fallon Park was his country estate. Streets in the area today bearing names such as Mary, Alice, Emily, John, Adelaide, Algernon, Clarence and Pope were named for members of his family.

Representation

O'Fallon Park is partially in three aldermanic wards: Ward 2, Ward 3, and Ward 21.
