Andy Banker co-anchors FOX 2 News Saturday Morning and reports weekdays on FOX 2 News at 9. Andy joined the FOX 2 News team in July 2002 and is a proud native of Millstadt, Illinois, a graduate of Althoff Catholic High School in Belleville and the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.

Prior to joining KTVI, Andy worked as a reporter and anchor in Champaign, IL, and Dayton, Ohio, returning home in 1994. He worked as a reporter and Weekend Anchor at KDNL, ABC 30 News, for 8 years.

Andy's received multiple Emmy, Edward R. Murrow, and Associated Press awards for his reporting. He's been named "Best Reporter" by the Illinois Associated Press, two years in a row [2003-2004]. Andy volunteers with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation among other charities. He's a past honorary Chairman of the Walk to Cure Diabetes. Andy is a huge fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the fighting Illini, plus musicians Jay Farrar, John Hiatt and Bruce Springsteen.
